OVERVIEW

Years of working within the dance world have profoundly shaped the way I frame emotion, rhythm and body guiding the lens toward new forms of storytelling.
When movement meets fashion, something unique happens: choreography turns into texture, gestures become light, and the camera starts to dance as well.

Each project becomes a complete sensory experiment, where electronic music and original sound design emerge as natural extensions of the image itself.

I blend dance and fashion to explore movement as a visual journey.

WORKS

ROLE: Director / Cinematographer

“Labour of love” - Man about town UK

Art direction by G. Sgura (2022)

A fashion editorial born from the daring interplay between identity and couture, Labour of Love framed two actors in garments often coded as feminine — a choice that invites reflection on gender, presence, and presentation. Shot as part of Man About Town’s editorial vision, the images oscillate between strength and vulnerability, recalling how fashion can subvert and reveal at the same time.

ROLE: Director / Video operator

“Magdalene cap.3”

Directed by S. Caggianelli (2024)

Two women embody the contrasting notes of the same fragrance: One, androgynous and magnetic, grounded and intense; the other, blonde and luminous, playful and tender.
Set in Roman spaces suspended between reality and dream, they chase, collide, laugh, and fall apart — only to find each other again.

ROLE: Cinematographer

“The bliss of the crash”

Directed by T. Laterza - S.Caggianelli (2019)

What is being explored is the arduous journey of a body whose only salvation lies in perceiving and sublimating the harshness of the impact. It is the beauty of the solitary crash that offers the key to metamorphosis: determined to free itself from the weight of social constraint — so oppressive that it erases the most ancient and honest impulse — it seeks its primordial Truth, like a naked animal that, every day, survives.

ROLE: Director / Cinematographer

“Mimeomia”

Directed by S. Caggianelli (2022)

Created for “Schon! Magazine”, explores the silent struggle of the performer, often confined by creative frameworks not their own. Shot in Milan, the project grants the subject rare freedom of execution, revealing the tension between authenticity and performance.

ROLE: Video operator

“Recycling Capsule Coll. - Emporio Armani”

Directed by G. Sgura (2022)

A deeply personal and artistic collaboration, this capsule collection celebrates sustainability and the harmony between fashion and earth. Shot in Puglia, the campaign embraces the soil, light, and raw beauty of our land.

ROLE: Cinematographer

“How much does your freedom cost?”

Directed by T. Laterza (2019)

Created with over thirty dancers and a small, dedicated crew under the choreography of Roberta Ferrara, the project was an intense and formative experience, balancing precision, emotion, and collective energy.
