I’m a 1st AC and Camera operator, now based in Amsterdam.

I started my career in Milan within fashion, gaining experience in fast-paced, agency-driven environments. I later worked in Rome on narrative films, developing long-term set experience and a strong understanding of crew roles and responsibilities.

This background allows me to move comfortably between commercial and narrative productions.

I am currently based in Amsterdam, working worldwide as a 1st Assistant Camera.

Additional role:

Alongside my work as a 1st Camera Assistant, I also operate multi-axis stabilizers, including Ronin systems.

On several short films and documentaries, my role has been that of camera operator, working with stabilized setups in dynamic and uncontrolled environments.

I have applied this experience across different contexts, including documentary projects, live events, exhibitions and festivals, developing a strong sense of movement, spatial awareness and adaptability on set.

I am fully available to work both as a 1st Assistant Camera and as a stabilizer operator, depending on the needs of the production.

Technical Setup

The shot was captured on ARRI Alexa Mini LF with Atlas Orion anamorphic lenses, using a 25mm focal length. The camera was mounted on a Ronin 2, allowing a continuous movement across multiple environments. Due to significant lighting variations between locations, live iris control was required throughout the take to maintain exposure continuity.

Challenges & Execution

One of the main challenges was navigating extremely tight spaces, particularly inside the locker room. The narrow doorways required constant awareness of the physical limits of the Ronin 2 rig, where every turn had to be executed with absolute precision. The sequence also included multiple level changes, including a staircase leading down into the swimming pool area, demanding precise coordination between movement, framing, balance, and exposure. Due to limited time available on the day, the sequence was only briefly rehearsed and recorded almost immediately. The final take was successfully completed on the third attempt.

On this project, I worked as 1st AC and as Ronin operator for all stabilized shots. For this sequence, the second camera assistant stepped in as focus puller, ensuring focus continuity throughout the entire take.
